I think no one really wants to know how sick someone is or how devastated they may become with worry over finances so I won't bore anyone with those little details... I am on a path of self healing into a full creative spotlight. I have decided once again in my life to take control of the inevitable and heal myself by staying busy with ART! It makes me feel great, I gain self knowledge, and above all it nurtures the child artist in me.
I thought I was able to handle everything from family, work, and play but there hasn't been much play and sometime soon I will try and take some time off to see family and friends. I will take a camera with me and shoot anything and everything. I will focus on what's important and settle for only the best fun I can create for myself.
I have looked around Deviant Art and have seen so many wonderful works of Art. I have imagined myself becoming less stringent and more painterly in the execution of my work and will continue to paint daily as I was used to. I have so many favorite artists that I revere but I must tell everyone about a painter who offers online painting lessons for FREE until someday when he decides to charge for the lesson who is amazing. He is known as "Dave the Painting Guy and you can find him on Ustream under the show name "Dave the Painting Guy". Here is his link
[link]I also have to admit that for the past year or so I haven't really been communicating much with my friends here at DA. When I find myself with too much on my plate, I regress and I suffer the loss of those I have come to admire like Designing Divas, Elite Artists, and Lourdes Lavaue. I hope you folks see how invaluable their contribution to DA has been. They have all consistantly held artists like us in such high esteem offering contests, support, and yes even a little comfort in times of need. Please visit them and you will see how important a role they play here and you too can become friends.

"Every day is an opportunity to capture history. Let not a day go by without picking up a pen, pencil, charcoal stick, paints, tablet, or fingers"
I'm more of a Grace Kelly fan but I do really like Judy Garland as well - you should do more portraits of her, you're good at it
