How are you doing with Eclipse? I saw a lot of people upset enough by the permanent switchover to say they would leave the site. Whoever you are, I'm glad you're here and reading this. DA would be nothing without its community. So, what are your thoughts on the new design, now it's been in place for a few days and we've all been obliged to use it without switching back to the old style?

My Bio

I have been painting in oils for about 40 years, yes I am an old timer but with a lot of passion for my craft. I am best known for my portraits and am a member of the National Portrait Society which has always been a huge motivator for me. I intend to continue working in oils (my first and always love). However, I am currently going to use my Wacom Cintique Pro 16 to develop and create new CG paintings. I hope to be inspired by everything that’s around me.. all forms of media whether it is surfing online, viewing a show that I absolutely love or just people watch.

Still Painting

It seems like the days, months, and years have passed me by and I haven't communicated much here at DeviantArt but trust me when I tell you I have been extremely busy. I have painted like a mad woman and completed my legal degree. I continue in my full time career but I have immersed myself in ART!. I read, viewed Art videos and so much more. I've practiced, yes I've practiced because it is after all the journey for me and painted almost daily. I am currently working on period paintings from series shows that I enjoyed watching and it has been a blast. I challenge myself with every stroke and have decided that nothing comes without a price...

How time has passed me by...

Hello everyone, It's been a while since I have posted anything mostly because I am still working on my degree in Legal Studies and also have been active on Facebook more than here. I stopped painting for 3 months because I was caring for my mother who had surgery for cancer but she just left this weekend to go back home to Puerto Rico. I am looking forward to creating again and can't wait to start. I am going to upload some images that I have have painted since December 2009 but did not upload previously. Hope you are all having a wonderful year... Happy Memorial Day to all of you.

Hello everyone yes, it’s been awhile but I will be posted more content tomorrow. I am really excited as I just unboxed my Cintique Pro 16....Yay! What will I create? Will have to wait and see but for now have a look at the paintings I have worked on. Some were sold, many in private collection, and some are still available.
